December 21st

Today we woke up in the hospital and order room service for breakfast and we had the most gross pancakes ever! It tasted like it was really old mix or something i really prefer mckay hospitals food over ogden regional lol. I had a very down day today which isn't like me but i couldn't stop crying. My grandma and my aunt trish came to visit after they left it was time for jarrom to go to work so i cried even more because i felt alone even though jarrom is so much help i was just extremely nervous to be all by myself. My mom came up and stayed until about 10:30 and it was nice to just talk with her. She makes everything better i love my mom. Our midwife came up to talk and make sure i was ok and i just love her! If we ever decide to have more kids (right now its a NO!) she will be the one delivering it agian! While mom was up there we found out that a lady that had her baby today that the baby didn't make it :( it makes me so sad to think about and i am so greatful that we have a healthy little girl that joined our family.

december 22nd

Jarrom got back to the hospital around 3am and i was so happy to see him! We fell asleep and when we woke up i was so ready to go home and pick up the other two kids! It took forever for the nurses to get the paper work to release us good gosh! We started watching cribs on mtv and jarrom decided that he wants shaq's house! I wonder why he has the superman symbol on EVERYTHING yep that is jarrom's dream house. Finally they brought us the paperwork and we went and got the kids! I was so happy to see them! We went and got my meds and went home. Jarrom had to go to work so he went and got in the shower and left :( Wow three kids is really different than two! Mom came over to help which was nice so i wasn't all by myself. Savannah is so in love with Addison! Tanner on the other hand is not fond of her. He wont let me hold him its like he wants nothing to do with me because i had another baby. Hopefully he will come around.

December 20th

We tried to get some sleep today but it didn't work out so well. We walked to the nusery around 5:30 and watched Addisons first bath. we had a few visitors today which included my cousin jennifer, my mom, cheri and all of my inlaws (except zane). Jarrom got today off which was nice and his boss was nice about it but he has to go back tomorrow which makes me nervous about being in the hospital by myself for like 12 hours! Our little addi is doing so good she is a great eater and everything i really miss my other kids though. When cheri and my mom came up today jarrom went down and sat with the other two kids since they aren't allowed to come up since the hospital is having restrictions and no one under the age of 14 was allowed to come up. Jarrom's family leaves tomorrow for mexico and they came up and switched our van out for their new one since they didn't have licence plates on their new one yet. After all the visitors left i got into the jetted tub and relaxed it was so nice to just have that quiet relaxing time just to myself.

monday=labor? (very long) Addisons birth story

We woke up and waited until it was time to go to my dr's appointment at 12:30. I got checked and i was dialated 3+ and 80% she striped my membranes and we went on our way. Well after jarrom said he felt like eating Burger bar because we hadn't been there in a while so we drove to roy and got the best cheeseburgers around and went home. When we got home jarrom joked that he didn't want to go to work and i said maybe he will get a call that my water broke and we laughed about it. Me and the kids took a nap because i was cramping like i had been lately.While we were asleep jarrom got in the shower and got ready for work.
I woke up and i was bored so i decided to go walking but getting out the door with both of the kids i changed my mind. I called my mom up and asked her if i could go hang out with "thema and louise" aka her and my grandma. Me and the kids got to my grandmas house and we talked for a while and i told my mom that i wanted to get my christmas shopping done and she told me she needed to go to big lots.
We went there and found nothing we needed so i finally convinced her to go with me to hobby lobby and walmart on her one condition that i got her ice cream after i agreed lol. I finished my shopping and so did mom. We went to icebergs in syracuse for dinner/ice cream and went back to moms house to eat. While we were eating I just didn't feel right i just felt crampy but i didn't think anything of it, since i didn't get to go to the mall to walk with the kids my plan was to walk on my moms treadmill. I went into the garage and found that it was not plugged in and i didn't want to move it to plug it in. (which later on i found out was such a blessing i didnt walk) I kept going into the bathroom but nothing would come out really and a couple of times i was spotting. We continued to watch tv and my mom made the soup and little smokeys she was in charge of for work while she was wrapping the present for the girl's name she drew for christmas while she did that i did the dishes. I sat down and kept getting up to "pee" it felt like i had to go and i just couldn't but still got up and down countless times. I started getting strong contractions about 9:30 or 9:45 and they were two minutes apart when they started there was no warning. I kept telling my mom that i was just going to go home and lay down and i assured her that i would take main street all the way home. My mom convinced me to stay and time them for a while since they were strong. I was in so much pain but i didn't want my mom to know becasue i knew she would make me go to the hospital and i didn't want to get sent home again. I was having a hard time sitting still and i went into the bathroom for the last time and walked out and said to my mom  "we need to go" my mom said "where" (because i was so dead set on going home and not to the hospital)
We hurried and got the kids in my van and mom called cheri to meet us at ogden regional. As soon as we got in the car the contractions were right on top of eachother and coming about every minute all i could do was cry and it was hard to breathe. Tanner was in the back just staring at me like i was nuts and savannah offered me her water bottle because she said it would make me feel better she is so sweet and thoughtful. My mom kept telling me not to push she was freaking out because i have never gone into labor by myself i have always had to be induced and had never been in so much pain. She kept saying "i can't deliver her i can't deliver her" Cheri got to the hospital before us and went up and told them that we thought i was in labor and they brought a wheel chair out.
Labor and delivery
I could not stand basically to even get out of the van. I said goodbye to my kids and I was rushed upstairs to labor and delievery i didn't even check in they just wheeled me right into the delivery room and i was stripped and put into a gown right then and there. I was checked and i was a 5 and 100% effaced and was still having contractions like crazy and i couldn't get the epidural until i had a bag a iv fluids and they drew my blood it felt like that was never going to happen and i was in so much pain i couldn't sit still i was contracting so bad. I called jarrom and told him to hurry to the hospital. In the mean time my nurse gave me my iv and put this medicine in my iv that was called phenagren and it took the edge off alittle before that kicked in jarrom was there trying to hold my hand and i snapped at him because everything hurt that bad! I felt bad but i couldn't help it. Eventually I finally got my epideral and wow what sweet relief! To everyone that has natural child birth i have no idea how you do it! My best friend jessica and my inlaws showed up not too long after and i don't even remember talking to everyone because i was so loopy from the phenagren. Later i felt like my water broke which it did but only partly. I was only dialated to a 7 for quite sometime and they decided to call my mid-wife to break the rest of it. When kathy (midwife) got to the hospital she broke it and i was ready to push right then and there! I was in shock it went so fast. I pushed for about 10 minutes and our beautiful Addison Lyne Brown! She weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and 19in long @ 2:50am With a full head of dark hair. Minutes after she was born the nurses had to intabate her to make her breathe and we just had to let her cry to try to get the junk out of her lungs. Everyone came in and met her then headed home to get some sleep. I still can't believe i have three kids. I wish the other two would have been the first to meet her. what a great day! I am in love once again! :)

tanners birthday dinner

We didn't end up going to church today because I have still been having contractions so we decided it would just be best if we didn't go. Well Jarrom's mom invited us over for dinner to celebrate tanner's birthday which was nice. We had a nice turkey dinner, it felt like thanksgiving all over again and we all know how much I love turkey dinner! All of Jarrom's family (except zane) are leaving for mexico on wednesday to spend christmas with aagan, valeria and leonardo so we celebrated christmas too. My kids got some byu cups, church movies on dvd, and church clothes. The girls got purple dresses and Tanner got a purple church outfit I cannot wait to have addison and get their pictures done in them. For tanners birthday they gave him a blue church clothes and a leap frog cake toy that he loves. We had pie for dessert and tanner ate a whole twinkie for his "cake" We ended the night with jarroms family by watching planet of the apes which savannah said she didn't like after and she told us that she doesn't want to watch bad shows like that again. haha

contractions!

Well i can honestly say that i have never felt "real contractions" until today! I woke up with contractions every 5 minutes lasting about 45 seconds a piece. This was about 5 in the morning so i called the drs office to get checked out because addi wasn't moving like she should be and i had a non stress test done and to be checked. kathy said that i am still at a 3 and 70 but i am alot more soft so we will see what that means. Later i went and walked at the mall to see if the contractions would do something and kathy wanted me to go back to the office or the hospital later to see if it was real labor. I ended up waiting til my mom got off work and we headed up there at 7 the nurse checked me and i was still having regular contractions and i was at a 4 and 70 and the baby was at -2 station. I walked for 2 hours at the hospital and i didn't progress but the contractions wouldn't stop so they gave me morphine and phenagren to help with the pain.

another drs appointment

37 weeks! I can't believe it. I got checked again today and i am now dialated to a 3 and 70% effaced. We also used a better ultra sound machine and it is estimated that addi weighs 5lbs 15oz which is alot better than the measurment last week i am not as scared lol. We made our induction date which will be the day after tanners birthday so on december 30th at 8am we will be getting induced. After my appointment I went home and cleaned like crazy and walked at the mall for a couple of hours by myself. I finished addisons blanket from my mom today it is brown and pink with cowgirl stuff on it. I am so glad that i have finally finished it!

dr appointment

Today we had our first weekly dr's appointment. She started doing cervical checks I am dialated to a 2 and 70% effaced. Addison is weighing in at 6lbs 11oz! Can you believe that! I find that crazy I think she is going to be a huge baby! I hope we have her early which I haven't even thought about her coming early I am just relaxed this pregnancy so this is the first i have thought about having her early. But her stomach was measuring 2 weeks ahead and everything else was either on time or two weeks behind so i think that that stomach measurements were off i hope......I am very excited that i am almost done and know that by the end of the month our third baby is going to be here! After we got home from our appointment we all took a nap and then me and the kids went to my uncle harolds house so my cousin kenzie could cut my hair and jarrom went to work. After my hair was done (which i love by the way) we went over to cheri's and watched "the help" and and ate nachos. My mom even came over it was a nice night and day.

Thanksgiving

This year we went to my Grandma's for dinner. We would have gone down to Arizona with Jarrom's parents to see his grandma and grandpa fisher, but the funding for us this year is low with welcoming number 3 here soon. Tanner kept eating we thought that he was going to throw up! But he loved all of the food! Savannah didn't even finish her food but Tanner helped with that too. After we went black friday shopping and got everything on our list which was very nice. We had a great thanksgiving and I am so thankful for my "little" family if i can even call it that anymore. Oh on our way home from shopping my friend jessica was driving and it was about 3:30 in the morning and we saw a deer just walking down our street it wasn't even scared of the car or anything it was just hanging out.

Trick or Treating

10-31-2011
We went trick or treating at my moms complex and i found it really better then doing it in her old neighborhood. The doors were closer to knock on and there were no stairs to go up and down with the kids. Jarrom had to work which sucked it was the first year since we have had kids that he worked. His work also didn't do a trunk or treat this year. Savannah loved trick or treating at my moms because there was not alot of kids and it was just me and cheri taking her and tanner around so she got to ring the doorbells. She ended up with quite a bit of candy and we only trick or treated for like an hour and a half.

Black Island Farms

10-22-2011

We went to the syracuse black island farms like we do every year and had a blast. We brought subway with us to eat and the kids had lots of fun playing with the drums and corn cannons, and going up and down the slides. I love that we have family traditions that we do every year no matter what. I believe this is the 4th year we have gone to the black island farms.

Family Halloween party

This year we made our costumes again and we decided to be the incredibles from the disney movie. Savannah was so excited to spray her hair black, tanner however had to be basically held down to get his face painted and hair sprayed. We had to bleach Jarroms hair in order to get his hair so yellow because how dark his hair is it just kept turning green when we sprayed it. The party was a blast it was at susan and harolds house and they had the cutest ideas to do with the food and it was fun getting together as an extended family it is always a blast. Cheri and Cameron we Kronk and Isma from the emporers new grove, my mom was a leaf blower lol. Amanda was a school girl, Cory was a scary guy with a cape i am not quite sure, Trevor was green lantern and kayelyn was tinkerbell. I was suprised at kayelyn because her dad hates tinkerbell! A little crazy

So life sure does throw some crazy cruve balls at you sometimes! I havent blogged for so long. I think it is about time for an update it might be quite long so...... Savannah is doing amazing in dance and learning more and more each week and making us so proud! Tanner is 7 months now and sits all by himself, eats solids, and just started to army crawl this week. It sure is crazy he is growing up so fast! Jarrom is doing good in his job and loves the work not some people lol. I am so greatful for him providing for my family and making it possible for me to stay home with our kids. Speaking of kids we are expecting number 3!!! Suprised??? :) so were we! We are due december 30th one day after tanners first birthday with a little girl and we could not be happier! We are just trying to figure out how we are going to fit all of these blessing in our small little "starter" home :) I feel truly blessed and want to thank everyone for their support because our kids are so close we get alot and i mean ALOT of really rude comments so thank you for all you that have supported us though this crazy time of our life!

I just stayed home today because of my bright idea to put the dressers together by myself. i finished this morning about the time jarrom got home. It took me 7 hours total! can you believe that! My thumbs have blisters on them from putting them together! It was crazy but they look so nice. Jarrom helped me redo our room and they look so nice in there! Now onto cleaning everything else it seems like it never ends :)

Today was supposed to be tanner's 2 month check up but the dumb doctors office decided to call me one hour before the appointment and inform me that the doctor was out of town.....i was mad to say the least just because of the short notice! We went over to my mom's before jarrom went to work so he could see her and we watched burless it is a new movie with cher in it. After jarrom went to work we were invited to amandas for homemade pizza and we watched the blind side. I started to put the dressers together tonight to surprise jarrom.

today i took jarrom to work and then savvy to dance. After dance we went over and met amanda at my moms to finish the bathroom. We went to subway and finished the bathroom literally right when my mom walked though the door. It was fun and it turned out really nice. I am so glad to have my mom and sister home!

redo mom's bathroom

We went to church today and i went and sat in the nursery because this lady was in there all by herself with 6 kids! crazyness and they didn't even find subs lol. Anyway church was nice and trevor had a great time. After church we headed over to my moms to suprise her and paint her upstairs bathroom. She got a lot of new decorations for christmas for her bathroom and no one was getting around to putting it together so i did! :) amanda and cory came over to help and it was a lot of fun. We have to do the second coat tomorrow and finish putting things up hope it turns out ok. Happy birthday to my aunt jamie 31 this year!

ikea

We went to ikea today with amanda, cory, trevor and kayelyn. It was so fun for the most part except my toes are still killing me! We got fun stuff including two new dressers!!! I know that doesn't sound like something to be excited about but it is for us. We have been married for almost 4 years and we have never bought a new piece of furnature together ever! The boxes sure were heavy though holy cow. After ikea we went and got stuff to make buffalo wings at amandas house then headed to the rodeo. The rodeo was fun like always and after we let trevor come home with us so he can go to church tomorrow with us. normally my mom takes him to her church but she is still in arizona for nascar so we wanted him to go with us. it was a great night.

toe surgery

I had my toe surgery today at 1. We dropped off the kids at jarrom's moms house and headed to makay Dee hospital. I had to get shots in my toes it hurt so bad! They had to cut a ton and put chemical on the sides of my nails so i can't grow nails back on the sides. We then went to walmart to get my perscription and then headed back to jarrom's moms house. I kept having to sit down while we were walking out of the hospital and even at walmart because i got light headed and kept blacking out it was scary. We ate pizza at jarrom's moms house and it was the best pizza i have ever had in my life!!! Seriously! I usually hate pizza hut but this pizza type was a "pan" pizza and oh my gosh! amazing! We left because i was in so much pain and we had to make an appearance at amanda's pampered chef party and i just sat their and felt crazy beacuse i was on pain medicine.

This morning cheri and my mom left for arizona and they will be back on monday or tuesday. I still went over to their house to watch tv until i had a jewelery party at my friend amber's house, i worked with her at chancellor gardens and there were people i knew from there and it was very exciting to see them but it just reminded me of how much i miss everyone there...employees and residents. After me and the kids brought jarrom lunch then went home.

We did our first family pictures today as a family of 4! Not to sound buyest but i think i have the cutest kids in the world but who doesnt think that. We went to my moms to say goodbye to her and cheri they leave for arizona tomorrow for vacation they are going to go see a nascar race. Cheri ordered pizza and amanda and cory came over too. Oh and today savannah said her abc's for the first time all by herself! she is getting so big now she wont stop singing it! :) but at the end she says "next time you will sing with me" instead of next time wont you sing with me. It is so funny because it sounds like she is telling you, you better or else!

lunch with jenn

I went to lunch with jennifer today and it was much needed we both vented about different things and it was so nice talking again. I feels like since i lost my job back in july that we don't talk as much. We are cousins and we are only 3 months apart and we have had our ups and downs but since we both graduated we have stayed pretty close and it is nice. I also turned in an application today so we will see if i get called back.

new nephew!

we have a new nephew!!! Aagan and Valeria had their first baby today at 2:45am he weighed 7lbs 4oz and his name is Leonardo! I am so ecstatic we are so happy for them. Leonardo Ray Brown i can't wait to meet him. They said he has dark hair and dark skin so we will see after time what he will look like :) We went to Jenn and Christian's house today and wow it is beautiful and so big! They gave Savannah a giant coloring book for her birthday.

cancelled church?

woke up this morning and was just sitting around relaxing waiting for it to be time to get ready for church since our church doesn't start until 1 now. When i got the call from the relief society president telling us that the stake president called and let everyone know that he cancelled church. We had like a foot of snow outside but we live in utah everyone knows how to handle snow! so i don't know why it was cancelled. Then we went over to my moms house and had game night with cheri cameron and my mom

sick baby :(

it was such a nice day today we stayed at our house until about 5:30 we just cut out coupons and spend time with our individual family today. Then we went over to my moms and ate breakfast for dinner and decided that tanners cough was getting bad so we took him to the doctors. He now weighs 9lbs 4oz! I can't even believe it! They checked for RSV and he doesn't have it but it is going around so we were told to keep a eye on him. The test they did for that they had to suck the snot out of his nose! Can you believe that crazy there was a lot too! I am so glad he doesn't have RSV though :) what a blessing he just has a cold.

brayson's birthday

yet again another dentist appointment for me but i am done! yay! savannah also had one too and she only has one more left until she is finished. Afterward we went and picked up jarrom and went to TGIFridays with my mom yum how i love their food. After that we headed to walmart to find brayson a gift for his birthday i can't believe he is 11! We went to Golden Corral with jarrom's family to celebrate braysons birthday. After we went back and watched the movie we bought him :)

Same old thursday! Except i did help make dinner for a lady in our ward that just had her third baby that felt good to help even though i dont know her expecally because everyone was so willing to help us on when we had tanner.Just our normal routine after that lol big bang theory and greys anatomy then off to bed lol.

no more snow! i wish

I was scheduled for a dentist appointment today but i had to move it because he was running so far behind on my way home i went and got an application from a place called legacy village it is an assisted living place i haven't turned the application in yet but i hope i get the job when i do :) It snowed like crazy today so i didn't stay at my moms long because she hates driving in the snow

visiting teaching

i went visiting teaching for the first time as an adult it was fun and a little awkward because i don't like to talk infront of people and i was asked to say the prayer. I love the visiting teaching partner i have she is great and the lady we went and saw today is very nice too. It was such a nice day today and pretty warm i can't wait til spring and summer!

Real valentines day

Happy valentines day! We decided to celebrate again go figure :) i love my man. We took the kids with us and went to Texas Roadhouse and it was so good i got their country fried chicken yummy! We then had to go get milk i know big deal lol. Savannah went to dance and everyone in her class (4 other girls) got her valentines....oopps i didn't even think about doing that i felt so stupid. When we got in the car savannah just kept saying "my friends are so nice mommy" i thought it was so cute.

we did not go to church today shame on us i know. We did go to jarrom's parents house for brayson and savannah's birthday dinner. They made steak and guess what they made chicken for me because they know i HATE steak i thought that was so sweet. She got presents and was super happy about them.

february birthdays

we went to korruns and braysons basketball games this morning and at six we celebrated the february birthdays at my moms today. It was just savannah and cheri since my aunt jamie lives in montana :( Savannah got a lot of great stuff and so did cheri. It was a nice birthday party but we did miss my uncle harold and family they couldn't make it :( they did drop off a present which was really nice.

early valentines day

today we woke up and took savannah to the dentist appointment and she did great at first then it took 5 people to hold the little turd down! After we took savannah to cheri's work because she took her to the movies to go see tangled and then they ate at burger king. We went and took tanner to jarrom's parents so we could have our valentines day since jarrom works on monday. We went to the movies and then went to eat at subway lol. It was such a nice pre valentines day it was very weird without the kids though.

another dentist appointment

today i woke up and went to my dentist appointment and wow the nitrous was up high or something i was so "high" lol then i got home and jarrom went to work with the car and i was staying home but amanda came and got me and we went to her house and had dinner and watched the movie called easy a it was funny i liked it. Savannah got to play with their kids which she absolutely loves i love that she has cousins close to her age.

I was home all day until my mom came and kidnapped me and the kids. She went to RCwilley's to get a movie she ordered then we went to chick fila and took it back to her house to eat it which cheri and cameron. The jazz game started and we were playing the bulls. Mom and me went to winco cuz they were having one of their awesome sales again and we ran into jarroms parents :) then we headed back to moms and watched the rest of the jazz game we lost which sucks because carlos boozer a old jazz player was on that team and they showed us up.

Relief Society

I had full intentions of staying home and laying around all day but then cheri called me and reminded me that i had a relief society getting to know you activity to go to today so she came and picked me up and mom and cheri watched the kids while i went to the activity. I had so much fun and i got to know the ladys in our ward more and i love them! Wow i am so glad we moved into our house we love to go to church lol it is so weird how everything happens for a reason

Savannah's birthday

Today was savannah's 3rd birthday! I can't even believe it! Wow three years ago my little baby girl entered the world :( it makes me sad to think how fast it has gone by. We woke up this morning and went shopping to get savannah somethings we had her pick out a toy and she picked a barbie and ken and she picked out a new leap frog movie. We made her popcorn and she watched her new movie and played with her toys she loved it. We also went to Mcdonalds and she got her favorite chicken nuggets and played on the toys. Next i took her to dance and then we went to TGIFridays for dinner my mom took us. My sister cheri turned 25 today also so it was a nice day. We went back to my moms and savannah opened some nail polish from my mom and toys from cheri and cameron.

Tanners Blessing

Today was tanners blessing day :) we bought him the cutest tux yesterday it is so cute and an exact replica of jarroms white tux he wore for our wedding. Our families came to support us and it was so nice and jarrom did great! i am so glad girls don't give blessings because i would never know what to say and he said everything so perfect. After we took some pictures in the hall. We went and watched the superbowl after at my moms. The packers won against the steelers.

Today we woke up and headed to roy. I had alot of stuff to get done with my mom including making and decorating a cake for the superbowl tomorrow so jarrom decided to go over to his moms with savannah and i had tanner at my moms. We went shopping and came home and i started baking. I love decorating cakes it just sucks because you have to wait for the cake to cool before you can decorate it sucks lol. While we were waiting for them to cool mom ordered applebees and i went and picked it up and we watched the funniest show it was about practical jokes it was so funny. Jarrom came over and we watched it again thats how good it was. I almost finished the cake but i decided i would do the rest at half time tomorrow.

friday fun

today we woke up and went to the dentist, I love the dentist and aparently so does savannah she had a cavity and had to get it filled today and she was so good! My mom has worked for our dentist for 28 years and she said she has never seen any little kid act that good in the chair the first time! I was so proud! :) Then it was my turn and i got the laughing gas of course and afterward i couldn't think i was high or something for like an hour after. Jarrom thought it was pretty funny lol. After that we went and paid the car payment and headed over to jarrom's parents house. I love going over there and talking to his mom it is fun. We ate pizza and then headed home late :)

biggest loser

Went over to my moms house today and we watched the Big Bang Theory and grey anatomy. I also started watching the biggest loser on demand and i think i am addicted. Something about that show makes me want to get my butt in gear and work all this baby weight off. Hopefully i get out of my lazy mode that i have been in for a couple of days now.

We did a whole lot of NOTHING today lol. But i do have some good news to report i am now in the 130's! yay lol even though it is 139 it is going down :)

taxes

seriously february first already? Time is going by so fast these day is makes me sad i want time to slow down :( I started filing our taxes today and i think we are going to get a pretty good refund. One thing that makes me mad is there is a 8,000 dollar tax credit for buying a house and closing on it before september 30th well we did so we thought we were getting that credit but the fine print was we had to be in a binding contract in may.....we werent which sucks so i hope they extend it and we will get a credit next year. I love that we get money back since we have kids it is nice.

savannah in comp dance?

me and savvy dropped jarrom off today because savannah had dance today. She did awesome! :) i just love watching how good she is getting at dance. I also looked into compition dancing and i want to register savannah for it next fall and see if she will make it. They travel all over having competions including disneyland this year, jazz games, logan and many more! I want her to dance until she doesn't like it anymore or dance forever whatever she wants to :) I decided i am going on a diet tomorrow too i am going to try the special k diet and see how it works you are supposed to lose 2 dress sizes in 2 weeks so we will see.

night out with friends

Today we went to church and had another wonderful day :) still love our ward! Then some elders from our ward came over to visit for about an hour and it was very nice. We then headed to Jessica and Kelby's house. They have been our best friends forever but we haven't hung out with them in a while because everyone has been sick then we had the baby and so on an so on lol. WE had a great night ate dinner and just caught up! It is so nice no matter how long we don't see eachother or hang out we never miss a beat. Savannah and Kollyn got along for the most part and had fun chasing eachother around and going up and down the stairs over and over. I am so greatful for our friends in our lives :)

game night

We woke up early this morning because jarrom promised korrun and brayson that we would go to their basketball games. Korrun's game started at 10am so we went to his first and in the middle of it cheri called me to go shopping with her and my mom (they wanted to use coupons) so me and tanner left while jarrom and savvy stayed with his mom. Me my mom and cheri went to kents first because RoLayne told me about the huge sale that they were having. Then we went to walmart. Kristie (my aunt) called me because she hasn't met tanner yet and she really wanted to meet him. Well after walmart we went to costa vita and by the time we got home we realized they gave me someone else's food so i drove back got my meal, they gave me a free meal card and i got to keep the wrong order (i gave it to jarrom he eats everything lol) so i guess it pays to be nice because i wasn't rude about them messing the order up. Kristie came over and stayed for a while and told us about her trip to disneyland over christmas i was so jealous! Sounds so fun and i can't wait to go this year. Amanda and Cory showed up and jarrom and savvy came over and then so did cameron we had another game night full of fun. We played a game called "boxers or briefs" it was so much fun lol

favorite day of the week

Friday's are always my favorite as everyone knows. I decided how i want to make the superbowl cake but i needed a football cake pan to do my design. So we woke up and went to joanns to get the cake pan (i got a gift card for christmas there and i had a 50 percent off coupon) We get there and the cake pan i needed was all sold out but they told us they had one at their centerville store. Me and Jarrom decided it was worth it to drive out there because we wouldn't be paying anything for it. I got my cake pan from the centerville store and then we went next door to the DI and we found me some ice skates in perfect condition! We bought jarrom some a while back so we were excited! After the DI we headed to walmart to see if they had anything on sale that i had coupons for (i know i am crazy right) We got a few things and our total before coupons was 24 dollars and after was 10 so i was happy! Our storage room is looking so nice and full and it is nice to have things we need and a good stock of them. We spent the rest of the day at jarroms parents house. They bought chicken nuggets from mcdonalds and i couldn't believe when they told me that it was the first time that they had ever had chicken nuggets from mcdonalds! isn't that just crazy?!? I grew up on them! lol. We were talking about how we wanted to get rid of our car and get a van for cheap so we wouldn't have to worry about car payments. Well his parents offered us their van! can you believe that? I am so greatful for my inlaws we might not see eye to eye on everything but they help out so much and are always willing to do anything for us. So hopefully all works out and we will be able so sell our car and take them up on their offer and have no car payments! We stayed their until about 8 and then went over to my moms and played "things" with cameron and cheri it was alot of fun.

addicted to coupons

I took Jarrom to work today and went grocery(coupon) shopping with savannah and tanner. i then went over to my moms house and cheri and cameron were their making spegetti together. They have been spending so much time together :) I like cameron it feel like he just fits in with our family already. We sat up to the table and ate as a family which was nice. Me and mom watch hawaii 5 O the new one on tv and it is a really good show! It has a character from lost on it so it cant be bad right?!

finally getting stuff accomplished

today we had a productive day. I did alot of laundry and cleaned house! Even Savannah's room which is a miracle lol. Oh and then me and Savannah made homemade (from scratch) cheese and broccoli soup. I love that i can make that even though i don't like it too much Jarrom and savannah just love it :) I didn't go to my moms house today because for Christmas me and jarrom bought my mom, cheri, my grandma and grandpa jazz tickets. They played San Antonio and lost :( boo. I used my new wii workout games from christmas and i loved them i felt the burn for sure.

seriously? another drs appointment

We woke up kind of early (8:30) and jarrom had been having lung pain all yesterday and it was really bothering him. Well alittle background on jarrom he was born a month early with one of his lungs not inflated and he had to be life flighted to primary childrens hospital for emergency surgery. Well that same lung is the one that is hurting him so i told him to call his mom and ask if he should go in. His mom said go in of course because of his lung history. We got to the doctor and jarrom had to get a chest xray and the doctor informed us that it is possible for his lung to collapse since the did artificailly inflate it! I was so scared that is what was happening....luckly the lining of his lungs are just inflamed so the doctor prescribed him ibprofen 800s that he has to take 3 times a day for 20 days! Isn't that crazy that is so much medicine. After that me and savannah went and got his medicine and then pretty much just stayed home all day while jarrom was at work.

I was just another very very plain and normal monday. Except i woke up and went to walgreens and winco just me and savannah while tanner and jarrom slept. Well i don't know if i have mentioned this on my blog yet but i am obsessed with coupons! I love that it is free money even if i save 50 cents on something i need that is money i still have to save! Anyway we got all our things we needed and before coupons my total was 23 dollars after coupons my total was on 3! Wow it was such a great feeling knowing i only had to pay three dollars for all of it! Then we went to winco and got a few things, I like going to winco instead of walmart because i am not tempted to buy anything but food! lol. I had to take jarrom to work again and then savannah to dance. She did awesome their little recital is going to be so cute!

l LOVE our ward!!

We went to church at our ward for the first time today since Tanner was born and oh my gosh i love our ward. Our church now starts at 1pm so it is going to be alot easier to go since we are on jarrom schedule. So we got there and savannah went right into nusery and she stayed the whole time without crying and had fun! Relief Society people talked to me and sunday school I had to go to change Tanner in the mothers lounge and talked to a few ladys. It was so awesome everyone talks to everyone there are no "clicks" is this ward everyone is so so nice! I talked to this lady for a while in the lounge and then we went to sacrament. The relief society president asked if i wanted to be a visiting teacher and i told her yes and at the end she gave me my assignment and i am partners with the lady i was talking to for so long and we hit it off! I am so excited! Oh and we scheduled Tanner to be blessed on feb 6th. After church we went to my moms to watch the football game and have taco salad. The superbowl is also the 6th of february and it is the greenbay packers vs the pitsburg steelers. We aren't going to have a lunchon after the blessing because of it lol.

saturday

Today Savannah went to the rodeo with my mom, amanda, cory, trevor and kayelyn. She had alot of fun but there was a chicken that jumped into her lap and scared her lol. Me and jarrom were going to go see a movie with cheri and her boyfriend cameron but it was after six and they didn't allow kids into the theater (it was a R rated movie don't judge) but we ended up going to FYE and buying "the break up" It ended up being a pretty good night considering we got rejected at the movie theater! I forgot to take pictures yet again today but savannah looked so cute we dressed her up and she looked like jessie from toy story lol.

First date night

Today was jarroms day off and we started off the day by going to my grandma's house and my aunt carla was there and she got to meet tanner for the first time. We had to take my mom home because she had a procedure done on her throat today. Before we took her home we went to the layton di (my mom is obsessed) and then we to Beez cafe. We dropped my mom off and headed home for a couple of hours. We went back to my moms so she could watch the kids and me and jarrom headed to the rodeo. It was alot of fun but i missed Savannah and Tanner so much i just kept texting my mom to see if they were ok. I love Jarrom he is such a great husband :) I am so lucky it was a great night.

one more day

Last night tanner slept from 11pm to 8am! I can't even believe he sleeps better than savannah! I love thursdays because i know it is only one more day until me and jarrom have the whole weekend to spend together :) Me and savannh went over to my moms today when jarrom went to work and ate dinner (we got chinese yum) and then we watch the newest big bang theory episode. my mom took us home and we are already laying down going to bed pretty early tonight.

sleep all day!

We woke up today and just laid in bed seriously all day! We watched a marathon of the big bang theory and jarrom took the car to work and me and savvy just stayed at home and watched more. We also gave tanner his first bath at home in his bath tub not just a spounge bath. He loved it believe it or not and didn't cry at all. It was a nice relaxing day since savannah is sick and just wanted to snuggle anyways.

sick sick and sick

I am so sick of everyone being sick! It feels like I can't talk to anyone without them saying that someone in their family is sick! Well we took jarrom to the doctor today and he has broncitis so they put him on steroids, antibiotics and very drowsy cough medicine. I took him to work (which he really didn't want to go lol) and went and hung out with my mom and cheri again. Savannah is getting worse so we might take her in soon too. I am just glad tanner can't get any of this sickness since i am breastfeeding. Lucky.

what a fun busy day

Today we woke up early because Tanner had a Doctors appointment at 9:40 am (yuck i hate mornings) He is doing good we just went back in for a weight check and he is now past his birth weight and he weighs 7lbs 13 oz. We also told the doctor about how we are worried about his hearing because he doesn't even flinch when people yell or the dog barks or anything which is weird so he scheduled an appointment for autiology on friday. Then after we went to FYE and didn't find anything so we went home. Well my mom called and asked if i wanted to go run errands with her, i told her yes and she came and got me at one. We went to her work, the layton DI, then to savannah's dance class, then to the ogden DI, cal ranch store and then to finally we went to winco. It was such a long day but it was fun.

Sunday dinner

I woke up this morning and me and Tanner got ready and headed over to my moms so i could do Cheri's hair. I decided to let jarrom sleep and i would go get him later . Me and Cheri watch another playoff game for football and there were so many injuries! My mom got home with Savannah from church and Cheri left for church and I went and got jarrom from home and we headed over to jarrom's parents house for his dad's birthday dinner. We had some yummy chicken and sides. For dessert we had cookie dough ice cream cake it was so good! Oh i forgot to write yesterday that Teesha, RoLayne, Korrun and Brayson were in a pretty bad accident! I guess they got the green arrow to turn and some crazy lady ran the red light! That is so scary. We are so glad they are OK i will post a picture from teesha's facebook to show the damage. We left a little early because jarrom kept falling asleep on the floor.

Yet again we laid around all day i hate when we are sick. Well around 2 we decided to go to my moms to watch the football game. My mom ordered pizza and it was so good! I love papa johns pizza with the garlic sauce. My mom wanted savannah to sleep over to take her to church which savannah loves because trevor goes with her. When we got home me and jarrom wanted to watch different shows so i was in our room watching lost (season 5 now and my favorite so far) and jarrom was watching prison break season 2. We don't have cable so we just watch movies and tv showes on dvd.

relaxation

Well as you all know i am sick and guess what so is jarrom go figure. He just has a cold though which is good that it isn't the nasty flu that is going around. Well this morning we didn't go to bed til 6am because all the excitement about yesterday and then Savannah decided to wake up at 9:30 after only three and a half hours of sleep! So we called Amanda so she could take her and we could get some rest. Amanda asked if she could have her all day and if she could spend the night and we were just fine with that. So me and jarrom slept off  and on (we had tanner lol) until about 4pm and it felt so nice to get some much needed sleep. When we woke up jarrom went and got my medicine and a few things from the store and we layed around some more. Too bad we didn't get around to cleaning today oops. There is always tomorrow!

what a long day

Well today was quite the day! I woke up having some rather strange symptoms and throughout the day they just kept getting worse. Well the tanners pediatrician told me that i had the warning signs of mastitis which you can get from breastfeeding so he prescribed me some cream and told me if i get any of the other symptoms go to the doctor immediately. Well i got progressively worse so Amanda was headed to my house to take me in (i kept blacking out and had a fever to name a couple of things that were happening) and Cheri showed up to bring me her left over food. Too her surprise i was totally out of it. So Cheri watch the two kids as Amanda took me to the emergency room. they ran tests, drew blood, gave me a catheter, IVs, morphine and chest x-rays. Well i have mastitis which is an infection in your breasts and it is horrible!!! But they said it was a good thing i went in because i could have been hospitalized if i waited and got worse. So antibiotics here i come.

more drs appointments

Today was tanners 2 week check up! I can't believe it has already been to weeks it is crazy how fast time flies. We went to his appointment and he has already grown to 20.7inches and 7.9 lbs and his head circ. is 14inches. We have to go back in on monday to check his weight again because babies are supposed to be back up to their birth weight at their two week appointment he is only an ounce off which i didn't think was a big deal. But honestly savannah wouldn't gain weigh so i think tanner might have jarrom motabolism which will be nice when he is older. After we all took a nap together which was so nice to hold both savannah and tanner while jarrom was holding me. It was the highlight of my day.

10th percentile

We went to our wic appointment today and savannah weighs 28 lbs now and she is in the 25th percentile for her weight and her height she was in the 10th lol i don't think she has ever been over the 10th percent for height the little shorty. Tanner weighed in at 7.8 and he is in the 25th for both weight and height so he might have a tall jean.....yeah right have you seen me and jarrom! They had to weigh me too and i am down to 148 i know that sounds like alot but i have lost 20 pounds in 13 days! Only 33 more to go until i win my bet with jarroms dad :) oh Tanners umblicord came off tonight which was very gross lol. Me and jarrom went to the store today after our appointment and he put his arms around me and asked if i worked out because my stomache was already feeling smaller to him :) he is so sweet lol i know it was corny but he didn't know i worked out and it gave me motivation.

so accomplished

Today I woke up did laundry, cleaned the living room, bathroom and kitchen! I was so happy to get things kind of back normal. It was monday so I took savannah to dance and then went to my moms and i worked out for the first time since i had tanner. I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes! YAY ME!! I know it doesn't sound like much but it was enough to break a sweat! I then came home and me and savannah danced with the wii to workout. I want to start a new nightly routine to work out before we go to bed to keep us active. I got a new workout outfit which always motivates me lol. I have to thank nintendo for inventing the wii it is going to get my butt in shape! Oh yeah this past weekend one of the movies we watched was called "in the prusuit of happyness" with will smith and i loved the movie! It just made me and jarrom more thankful for everything that we have. Even though our house is small at least we have a home! And it is bigger than most apartments and cheaper :) we are so blessed to have our "litte" house :)
