Loving Life!

Everything is going great! We have been homeowners for almost a week it has been stressful trying to move everything in but one room at a time it is finally coming together. It is so nice knowing that we are going to be paying our morgage not anyone elses! It has been a nice 6 days!

Homeowners

We are officially homeowners as of this morning! :) It is crazy i didn't feel like i signed my life away like everyone said it would it felt refreshing! I am excited to take this step with Jarrom and making a great decision to better our lives :) we don't get the keys until tomorrow because the seller has to sign everything so we will be moving this weekend! yay!

Doctor Appointment

We went to the doctor tonight and everything looks good with the baby still which is great and they still have no idea why i was bleeding. His legs caught up with the rest of his body :) He now weighs 1lb 12oz and savannah got weighed yesterday she weighs 26lbs 8oz lol she can't gain weight. All is good and i am not on strict anything really just have to be very careful. And just pelic rest still.

2 days!!!

We got the call this afternoon that everything is done and clear with our loan and everything and we close Thursday morning at 10!!!! I am so excited to be in our own house finally!!!!! Oh and savannah talks about her room constantly and she tells me she needs a pink room! so cute!

Hospital

So I started bleeding on monday night (sept. 20) And my mom made me go to the ER. Well i am too far into my pregnancy that they pushed me by wheelchair up to labor and delivery. They took some blood (which they poked me three times for) and took some labs. They didn't want to do a internal exam because it could put me into labor and the labs came back okay. The babys heartrate was where it was suppose to be and so i was expecting to be sent home. Instead the doctor told the nurse to keep me for observation over night. Oh joy! So I am on bed rest until further notice so hopefully just until i see the doctor later this week. As long as the baby is good i am good!

Well I think I got banned from the riverdale kid to kid. I went in to buy more maternity pants (they are cheaper there) and some pants for Savannah. I had Jarrom and Savannah stay in the car because I would have been just in and out. I got up to the line and there was like three people ahead of me and I just kept thinking it was pretty hot in that little store. I used to pass out all the time when I was pregnant with savannah so i knew what was coming. I got up to the counter and the lady asked if i was ok. By that time everything was already going black so I told them that i felt like i was going to pass out so i was going to go sit in the rockers that were 6 feet away so I started walking and i couldn't even see at all. I remember feeling my head hit the counter and the floor. When I came to the stores owner and the clerk were holding me up. I was mortified so i told them to go get jarrom out of the car. Needles to say I am not banned really I am banning my self out of hummilation! I also cut my arm on the shelf and that was bleeding. I am keeping candy in my purse to keep my blood sugar up and water to stay hydrated from now on! I finally learned my lesson! But the baby is good and kicking so I am good. hopefully next time Jarrom will be there to catch me like usual :)

Just about today

I have realized that blogging is my new journal and I am excited about it so this post is just about my boring but great life today. Well we woke up to Savannah saying she had to go potty. Which is a daily occurance so maybe we are close to having her potty trained she just wears big girl panties now no more pulls ups and it has been that way for about two weeks. Then she came back in the room and said "kiss daddy he will wake up like Sleeping Beauty" she didn't know that he was already awake and so of course he woke up to her cute little kiss :) Oh and since we have been living with my mom for a couple of weeks now if you ask her where her house is she replies "in mommy's car" I swear she says the cutest things. Lately I have had this bug to cook...don't ask me why but I have. Well tonight for dinner I made Cheese and Broccoli soup with rolls and for desert I made home made peanut butter cups. I ate some! I can't even believe it but I didn't and it had veggies in it! wow! For Jarroms lunch me and Savannah went to his work and brought him a hot bowl of the soup. I love my little family and just going to eat lunch with Jarrom was exciting for me and savvy :)

Frustration!

So we were set to close on september 16th. Change of plans i guess....our realitor called us yesterday and informed us that the seller bought the house that we are going to buy as an investment property so he remodeled everything inside and out. With the loan we are getting the seller has to own the property for 90 days or more before he can leagally sell it well when we signed our contract he owned it for 85 days!!!! are you kidding me??? so we had to run to the office to do a new contract for the house, they also have to do a new apprasial who knows why and so now we are scheduled to close on september 28th! Maybe sooner if the appraisal guy hurrys. It is just frustrating because we thought we were going to be moving in this weekend what a bummer.....oh well at least we know that the house is still ours :)

On a lighter note to keep my mind off things yesterday i canned 24 pints of salsa all by myself! I love canning :)

Briddger or Bridger?

We are naming our son bridger but me and jarrom can't agree on how to spell it! I want to spell it with two "D"s because we all have a double letter in our names (JARROM, SHANNA, SAVANNAH) so it would be rude if he didn't right? His middle name is going to be Adam after Jarroms mom's side of the family (her maiden name is adams) so if we did name him Briddger Adam Brown him and Savannah would have the exact same amount in their first name, middle and last. I just think it would be cool. Anyways we went to the doctor again yesterday and he weighs one pound four ounces already the only thing that are growing slower than everything else is his legs so he is going to be a shorty suprise suprise! not! Jarrom is 5'5 and i am 5'1 or 5'2 on a good day! I am suprised with this pregnancy i have only gained 7 pounds! crazy seeing how when i was pregnant with savannah i gained 45! I am now 24 1/2 weeks pregnant our next appointment is on october 12th i will post about this little man then!

wonderful weekend

Jarrom has friday, saturday and sunday off everyweek and it works out great! I love getting to see him and spend time with him and now that i am not working the weekends are so nice because we don't have to wait til i get off work to spend time together. So this past weekend was peach days so we went up to Brigham City. Just me jarrom and savannah :) We have gone up every year since savannah was born and we have our own little family traditon. We went to the parade, carnaval and the car show and walked for like 4 hours straight and it felt amayzing! (besides my feet) but it is just so nice to be with your eternal family doing nothing to spend money just enjoy eachothers company. Well i guess we did spend 10 dollars cuz we wanted savannah to ride some rides. Later saturday we went to jarroms friends house for a little going away party for him because his friend is leaving for texas that was fun. And then we went to my sister amanda's and her husband cory's house for a bbq. Savannah refused to eat my chicken instead she wanted her dad's steak......um who is this little girl and where is my daughter? Then sunday we went over the the Ranson's for enchaladas and after me jarrom savannah and our dog baileigh went for a walk. Then after that jarrom helped me can 14 more jars of peaches so we made 24 total! it was just the perfect ending to the perfect weekend and i just wanted to share!!!! I love my life!!!

Food Storage

Oh how I love food storage I think it might be an addiction. Well when I think of canning I think of my Great Grandma, Grandma, and my mom. The three most wonderful women who have ever walked the earth. Well somehow i have the bug to can just like all of them :) I guess when I can i feel closer to my grandma bingham like she is kind of there wispering into my ear not to mess up or this is how it is done.....i feel so accomplished when i hear that popping noise after making a batch of something. As my grandma was canning tomato juice today and we hear the jars pop "sing" she just said that is music to my ears. I want to can this year i just don't know what is still in season....but man that is all i keep thinking about today so i guess i will find something in season. I really wish pickling cucumbers weren't so hard to come by these days. My mom always would make them in august or somewhere around there when we were growing up and the first time we got to take a bit out of those crisp juicy pickles was on thanksgiving and that is a tradition that i want to continue with my little ones. Hopefully next year i will be more on the ball and get more canned i will post when i can something and take picture wish me luck, just remind me not to make anymore jam! we still have jam coming out our ears from two years ago oopps!

best call ever

This morning we got a call from our realitor Matt McFarland and said that the apprasial went good and our house is worth more than we bought it for and all they need to fix is the same things they found in the inspection. So once the seller fixes those two things we will do our final walk through sign the final papers and get our keys and MOVE IN!!!!!! I can't even wait to be a home owner finally paying our own morgage not someone elses!

everything!

Well on monday we went to our targeted ultrasound and everything looks great with the baby. The tech said he weighs about 14 ounces now! It has been crazy how fast this pregnancy is going. We had to be out of our rental by last night and needless to say me and jarrom stayed up a full 24 hours each cleaning and moving everything because lack of help.....which sucks i hate when people bail on you. Or if you help them move they don't help you in return? It bugs me but it is all good. We did the walk through with the landlord and got all of our 600 dollar deposit back! heck yes that was exciting. Now we are living at my moms for the next two weeks until we close on our house, everything is in storage which sucks and we are sleeping on an air mattress which also sucks but we are so greatful for my mom for opening her home up to my family once again. I love my mom she is my rock I just wish she could be healthy I pray for that everyday because she has been through so much and she is so so young! I keep having doubts that our stuff for our house wont go through lol but everything is going perfect i guess i am just thinking negative. Savannah is cute as ever the other day she told me "mom you are not my father you hear me?" and me my mom and my sister cheri were rolling on the floor laughing. She always keeps us on our toes that is for sure. I am excited about the next two weeks not having a care in the world about houses and renting ever again!!!
