Well the year is almost over and i can't believe how blessed we have been this year to buying a house to bringing tanner home this morning to savannah being ours :) I love how life has turned out for me and i love everyone that is a part of my life! Today we came home from the hospital and took a long nap! They weighed tanner before we left and he was down to 7lbs 4oz it is normal for baby to loose weigh before they start to pack it on.

 Well i took a nap while my great hubby watched tanner (savannah was with aunt cheri watching tangled). Later Jarrom's family came over and brought us subway. :) That was so sweet of them. After they visited for a while they went home and we went to my moms to pick up savannah. We stayed the couple of hours til midnight since we don't have cable or any tv stations and we could watch the ball drop. We played wii and had lots of fun. And did fireworks after. Bring on 2011!!

Tanner birth story (long sorry)

Well here is my birth story for our sweet "little" Tanner. I arrived at the hospital at 8pm to be induced. I got changed and everything and they checked me and I was already a 4 on the outside and a 5 on the inside and almost all the way effaced i think i was 90 percent so i was told i could have the epidural at anytime. I chose to wait until they broke my water. My pitocin (medicine that starts contractions) was started at 9pm. After our midwife came up and broke my water i asked for the epidural almost immediately the contractions got bad. The epi hurt going in this time alot more than it did with savannah and i could still move my legs and feel pressure and tightening with each contraction. I was progressing fairly quickly and had my mom come up with savannah when i reached an 8. When i got to an 8 i was 100 percent thinned out and a half hour later i was a 9 1/2. They called Kathy(midwife) and it took her 20 minutes to get there I guess during our labor a horrible storm came in and the roads were horrible. I felt the urge to push and i had to basically hold the baby in lol. When i had savannah i never felt anything so i couldn't push right but with tanner i knew right where to push if that makes sense. Kathy finally got there at 1:34. I pushed three times through one contraction and our little boy was out! it was amazing :) He was born at 1:38 only 4 minutes after the midwife came in! I opted for immediate skin to skin which was awesome and i swore he was smaller than savannah was and was shocked when they weighed him and told me we was 7lbs 10oz!! 20.5 inches long. Oh and he has red hair that i couldn't be more thrilled about. We are getting released from the hospital today new years eve at 9am. I can't sleep or stop holding this perfect little boy of ours :) We had savannah come in the room first before anyone else and it felt so good to know that both these kids are ours for eternity!Tanner scared savannah about 5 minutes later when he started to cry but it sounded more like a growl! It was sad and funny and the same time. I couldn't have asked for a better delivery experience what an awesome couple of days it has been even the lack of sleep i wouldn't change for the world.

Less than two hours

So today it the day!!! We are getting induced to have Tanner at 8pm. I am going crazy all our our laundry is done, house is clean, everything is ready now i am just extremely nervous! I am going to have TWO kids!!! I am scared of the labor and scared about what savannah is going to think or act... I am very happy but very scared, partially because it has been almost three years since i had savannah and i don't remember the pain. This afternoon we went on one last date as the family of three to TGIFridays my favorite place! Yum and got everything finished up now we just have to play the waiting game. Well the next post should have pictures of our baby boy! Wish us luck!

Christmas day

We woke up pretty early at 8 and waited for savannah to wake up. She woke up not too long after we did and we recorded her excitement when she saw that santa had come :) We got a lot of fun stuff i mostly got stuff to help me get back into shape when this baby comes :) yay!!! I can't wait to start working out. After we opened our presents we went over to my moms and had breakfast and waited for amanda and cory to open and exhange more gifts. This christmas was a great one! Words cant explain how happy we are for our family so here our some pictures of our wonderful christmas!

Christmas Eve

We spent christmas eve with jarrom's family like we do every year. We went over to their house around 2 and stayed til alittle after 930 because savannah started her night routine! lol. We had lots of snacks and goodies and a great dinner then we opened presents. Savannah had teesha and she got her a byu neckalace, I had zane and got him some calone and pepsi, and jarrom had brayson and he got him a ds game of mega man. Teesha had me and got me some lotion and cookie sheets!!!! I was so happy for the cookie sheets we don't have any lol and they are thick and nice :) korrun had jarrom and he got him a red south pole hoodie and brayson had savannah and he got her a game. Jarroms parents also got savannah a game you hook up to the tv and ride the bike i am not sure how it works quite yet but it will help our little smarty pants learn alot of different stuff. They also got her a stuffed animal of max from the grinch. Tanner got gifts even thou he isn't here yet they got him a monitor for his room two new years eve shirts and two HUGE boxes of diapers (192 in each box!!)

We then came home and jarrom and i we exhaused so we got chips a hoy cookies out for santa and savannah had fun putting them on the plate. We got new pajamas like we do every christmas eve it has been my family tradition forever so i am glad we get to continue the tradition! :)

We had our annual kerkman christmas party last saturday which was a blast! Like always! We do skits and have a blast.This year our little family sang last christmas. I just love our christmas party it is always the one thing i look forward to all year. We exchanged gifts and got our awards also. Jarrom got a superman snuggie and he hasn't taken it off since!

We had our last doctors appointment on tuesday and the baby lost 4 oz so he is about 6lbs 7oz I also lost 4 pounds.... the doctor said it was normal during the last week of pregnancy to lose weight so even if i wasn't getting induced it would probably have the baby by the new year. I am just glad that tanner has stayed in there so long because we were so scared a couple of weeks ago that he was going to come too early. But for sure this time next week i will have our baby boy in my arms and i couldn't be happier! Our perfect little family one girl and one boy!!

Another appointment

We woke up early and got jarrom's car registered and then ran around until we went to the doctors appointment. Well our appointment was scheduled for 11:15 and we didn't even get seen until about 130! So we left for an hour and went on a date to eat Chinese lol. It was so good! When we finally got seen the doctor said the baby looks good and weighs about 6lbs 11oz so we will see about that. She also checked my cervix and i am now dilated to a 3 and still 70 percent effaced! So hopefully I can keep progressing :) I also told her that I wanted to be induced before my due date if possible so she said they will schedule it the 27th well the hospital was booked that day so they scheduled it for the 28th at 8 pm! So two weeks left at most! I am so excited because i really don't want to go over due. We came home and took a nap because we were all so tired lol. When jarrom went to work i went over to my moms and then we went to Amanda's house because Savannah kept bugging to see Trevor like usual. We ate subway over there and then went to Hastings and fye. When we finally got back to my moms me and Cheri played just dance 2 and i started having strong contractions so we had to stop. I just keep my fingers crossed that my water will break ha ha.

weekend update

I really don't know why I don't update on the weekends but once so here it goes.
Friday- was my sister Amanda's 27th birthday wow she is getting old. We went to Iggy's as a family which was nice. Before that me and jarrom went Christmas shopping all day and got most of it done. Jarrom was supposed to work overtime today but i am so glad he didn't i hate when he is at work.

Saturday- we woke up early and has a little Christmas get together with some relatives and exchanged a few gifts. Savannah woke up with a barking cough and was sleeping all day When we got home from the get together jarrom went to his moms house and i stayed with Savannah because i was having contractions (surprise surprise) and Savannah was feeling sicker. Later me and Savannah went over to jarrom's parents house and ate dinner and took Savannah into wee care. They told us that she has a heart murmur.....that wasn't the problem but we are concerned about that now. She has a urinary infection, something with her ears and eyes and a bad croup cough so she has antibiotics, ear drops, eye drops and she had to get a shot of steroids in her leg. She looks so sick i hate when she is like this it is so sad. I just worry that she is going to be sick when we have tanner i sure hope not!

Sunday- we stayed home most of the day because everyone just feeling blah! We went over to my moms about at 5 and jarrom played the new wii game Michael Jackson experience and it looks pretty fun we like those dancing games. I am still pregnant and miserable nothing new but just thought i would update.

So I took these pictures last wednesday I went out side to get something out of the car and saw baileigh (our dog) and savannah standing on the couch looking out the window at me it was the cutest thing they are best friends! And i guess this is the first time i have taken a picture of our house! yay!

Get out get out get out!!! I have been having contractions like crazy the last two days and they have no pattern so i know it isn't the real thing yet but oh man! Today i finished my whole house! believe it or not and pack all the bags so hopefully i can relax and get this baby here! :) I just want to feel like myself again! Sorry for complaining it has been a day!

Terrific tuesday

Today I woke up early because we forgot to put the garbage cans out and I couldn't sleep because I didn't want to wait another week for them to empty them! lol I am crazy. I then went to shopko, bed bath and beyond and michaels. I finished more christmas shopping almost done. I just can't find a toy net anywhere for savannahs stuffed animals and it is driving me crazy! We had an appointment at 11:15 today i have not gained anymore weight since last time which was nice and the baby only gained 2 oz so he now weighs 5lbs 15 oz so the doctor is thinking he will be right around six and a half we shall see. I can't wait to see and hold him and it is getting close it just isn't quick enough for me :) I came home and wrapped presents and then later I went to the mall with my best friend Jessica and we walked for 2 hours. After I went to walmart just me and savannah and walked for another hour. My plan is to walk this baby out lets see if that works!! ha ha

another weekend

Friday- had was in labor and delievery for horrible contractions  that were going all the way off the charts but they were not regular so they sent me home. We were there for 4 1/2 hours though! I am 2 cm dialated and 70% effaced now though. I was like please just keep me. I am sick of false labor that is this painful. My next appoinment is on tuesday so we will see what the doctor says then.

Saturday- We went to my cousin Andrea's baby shower she is due January 13th and she is tiny. She is so cute they are naming their baby Jazmyn Lynn. My mom wanted both trevor and savannah to spend the night at her house she loves having them and she wanted me to be able to relax. My mom went to a work party with my dad so me cheri and jarrom decided to take the kids to chucky cheese. They had so much fun.

Sunday- Savannah went to church with my mom and I guess she did a good job! I am proud of her she hates our ward lol. While Savannah was at my moms we cleaned house we got a couple of  rooms done which is nice and we are almost ready for little Tanner to get here! We went over to my moms and i cooked her dinner and made fudge yum!!! After dinner we went to jarrom's parents house and they gave us the suvioneers from disneyland and seaworld. Then we went to advent at Rodney and Suann's house it was a fun night.
monday- I woke up with a wild hair a cleaned more of the house all i have left is the living room and savannah's room. I even scrubed the floors and the tub and everything! I feel so accomplished. We put all the stray bins in the shed until spring and finally can breathe in my house! I only have savannah's clothes to wash and i am all finished with laundry so maybe now that my nesting is done i will have this baby! I took Savannah to dance and she did good today there were three new girls in her class and I think it actually helps her that there are more kids because it isn't one on one so she isn't shy. We had subway for dinner which was awesome lol i love subway and the jazz won their game it was a great day!
