Our "little" man

We had a doctors appointment yesterday and the doctor says the baby weighs 5lbs 13 oz! I was like what? Can you say that again? She said yeah it looks like he is going to be about average which is 7 and a half. Well I am sorry but savannah was 6lbs 7 oz and that was just enough! haha We still have 5 weeks til the due date and i hope he doesn't gain way too much in that time i will have to have a c-section! But their measurements can and tend to be off so keep your fingers crossed! I am also already dialated to a 2 already which is really exciting! Since the baby isn't moving as much as they would like they did a couple of tests on him but we just have to keep an eye on his movements and count them. But if I haven't had the baby by december 26 they will start me so that is pretty exciting. Oh yeah and we finally picked a name. I pick the girl names and jarrom picks the boy names as long as we agree and he picked Tanner and I love it! It even has an "A" and double letters! good job honey lol.

Past Weekend

On Saturday we went over to my moms and helped put up all the christmas decorations. We also took the kids to the lights in ogden but we didn't know that it was the first they were lighting the lights so they had a parade and stuff which was weird. We watched the parade for a while then we all walked over to Subway. Which was heavenly haha! When we walked back the lights were on so Savannah was very excited! :)

On Sunday we put up our christmas tree and lights outside. It is weird because it is our house! I love being a homeowner.

Thanksgiving/Black Friday

We woke up on Thursday and went and watched Tangled a new movie from disney. We went with my family and it was a very cute movie. It is crazy that Disney is releasing new princess movies because when I was little they released all the other ones!

After the movie we went to my Grandma Kerkmans for Thanksgiving dinner not everyone came but it was very good like always. Me and Cheri took a nap and woke up and played games. Then Trisha decided she wanted to go black friday shopping with us. So we made a plan and we started at 9 p.m. It was quite the eventful night/early early morning but we all got what we were going for. People are crazy! Correction we are crazy too we stood outside target for 3 hours! In 12 degree weather! Well me and mom didn't only for about the last hour :) After everyone went home me and mom went to breakfast at village inn :) It was so good!

False alarm again

Yesterday we had a "blizzard" go through Utah it wasn't extremely bad but our house is close by the mountains we got about a foot of snow. I woke up having bad contractions and stressed about the stupid shed because there are a couple of things that didn't get finished but the wind kept picking the roof up and it was so loud! Amanda came over and helped jarrom before he went to work. We couldn't finish it before the storm came so me and Amanda went and got a tarp and just tied it down. Amanda and Cory went home because the storm started around this time. My pilot light went out later and I had to call Cory to come light it. While he was here I started feeling nauseous and hot and decided to go to the doctor. So we headed up to labor and delivery and they started an iv with fluids because i was dehydrated and also gave me anti-nausea medicine. They did a couple of checks and my body is trying to go into labor it is showing early signs of it. I was instructed to take it easy they game me a shot of morphine and sent me on my way home and just try not to get too stressed. So we got home about 2 in the morning and I slept like a rock I haven't slept that good in years! But hopefully in a couple of weeks we can see this baby's cute face! I am just sick of these false alarms and horrible contractions. But my doctor is so awesome i just love her she has gotten us through everything! And she treats us like we are people not another patient or number. Her name is Kathy Mark at the circle of life woman's center.

Is that normal?

 I just wanted to share how lucky we are to have savannah in our lives. She is one of our greatest blessings. I think it is funny because when it is time to go to bed we always have her brush her teeth and it is like we give her a present each time lol. When I tell her it is time to go to bed and brush our teeth she gets this huge grin and says really!!!! So I decided to take a picture of her getting ready for bed last night. I do think it is cute that she gets excited about pretty much everything though it makes life so fun.

Our Monday was a pretty normal Monday which consists of Savannah's dance class. I think she has A.D.D. though because she gets distracted by the other girls in her class so easily. There are only two other girls in her class and Savannah is the oldest but littlest go figure but her teacher announced today that they will be combining another class with hers so there will be six girls in her class. Their recital song is going to be the bare necessities :) I am so excited because when jarrom was little his parents have a video of him singing the bare necessities so that is exciting!

Sunday

We woke up to a ton of snow! I guess it is because we are so close to the mountain it always starts snowing at our house before our parents lol. We got up and went to church. Savannah was having a hard time in nursery because she is shy around new people and we haven't had her go because she has had a cough or whatever since we moved in so she went but only for half of it because i didn't feel like torturing the nursery teachers anymore :) We went home after church because i was having major contractions in my back and ate lunch and then we headed over to my moms (she had a heating pad that helped alot) We watched the Raiders loose to the Steelers which sucked! Then it was off to jarroms parents house for dinner. We had thanksgiving dinner with them today because they are leaving for Disneyland on Tuesday! I am so jealous lol! But i hope they have tons of fun. Maybe one day we will go (i have never been there) and i think Savannah would just have such a blast! :)

Rodeo

We went to the rodeo tonight because Trevor got free tickets from school. My mom, Cheri, Amanda, Cory, Trevor, kayelyn and then us three went. It was so fun I love seeing Savannah get excited about the horses (because of Jessie from toy story) Afterwords me and jarrom went to walmart and got a diaper bag and socks for the baby I think we finally might be ready hopefully. The best part of the night was Savannah saying "mommy thank you for going to the horses!"

Saturday fun

The boys are finally finishing the shed right now but it started to SNOW! They have been working so hard to get it up and they are freezing i feel bad! This morning i went shopping with my mom and sister Amanda and to find baby stuff :) my favorite! While shopping we decided to go to lunch so we called the boys and of course they were willing to take a break! ha ha Jarrom's work gave out coupons for souper salad (my favorite place) for buy one get one free! heck yes so that is where we went. I just wanted to post pictures of my almost finished shed and my frozen husband and brother in law :)

So I just wanted to share a funny quote Savannah said to  me yesterday on our way to my moms house.

me: yes
Savannah: why?
me: because he has to make money
Savannah: oh so he can give it all to you?
me: yep
I could not stop laughing to think that this little girl has a complete mind of her own and she in not embarrassed to use it! I love it!

Lost

Lately I can feel that this pregnancy is almost over and I am so drained! I feel so lazy it is unbelieveable! I just want to keep my house cleaned and pack my bags and be ready! But i can't find the motivation! So I am sucked into the tv show lost, I have had the first two seasons on dvd for years now and I finally am sucked in! We went and bought season 3 yesterday and I am sure I will be getting season 4 pretty soon. But the title fits my life perfectly right now!

baby's room

We finally finished the baby's room together! With the help of my sister Amanda and my best friend Jessica! I am so excited it actually feel like he could be here and it would be OK! :) I am so happy that we got it done! Next summer we are going to paint hopefully to get more color in our house that would be nice. Then we went to babies r us and i got a couple more outfits on clearance and a diaper stacker. I need to find a diaper bag we  like that is boyish and pack our bags for the hospital and I am all ready I am getting so excited!

Last night Jarrom was taking the garbage cans to the curb and he opened the door to come back in and a little birdie came flying into our house! So jarrom comes in our room and tells me that we have a little problem lol. We let Baileigh (our dog) out and the bird scared her because it flew at her it was so funny! Well we had to get it out and it didn't survive :( it was sad but at 4 in the morning he had a death wish......poor birdie

Little guy update

We went to the doctor today and the baby looks good! The doctor showed us his head and she said "oh my gosh" and i was thinking the worst! But then she was like do you see all of this white stuff it is hair! A full head of hair! and it is long! I can't wait to see what color it is :) He weighs 4 lbs or 4lbs 3 oz! We are getting closer! We got a 3D ultrasound and he looks just like Savannah lol he has chubby cheeks and a but chin and big lips :) I just want to hold him now!

Flooding grandmas bathroom

So last night when me and Savannah were about to leave my moms Savannah said i have to potty so i went and put her on the toilet and she told me she wanted to do it by herself so i left her in there. Well 2 minutes later my mom was like go check on her she is taking a while. So i went in there the and the water was up to the rim and it was obviously clogged with toilet paper. The bathroom flooded and we asked Savannah what she put in there and she just said toilet paper. then we said then what? And Savannah said just toilet paper and flushed it and it went down and came back up. Anyways i had to write about it because she was so Innocent! I love that little girl.

Baby shower

We had a baby shower for our little guy yesterday and my best friend jessica put it on and it was perfect! I know it sounds crazy but we seriously haven't bought anything for this baby. I guess time is just flying past us so we are not prepared! We got alot of cute stuff and we are so thankful for all the gifts and the people that came :) Now this week hopefully we can get his room together so we are ready since it seems like he will be here soon. While the girls were at the baby shower the boys were putting up the shed at my house which didn't get finished i guess it was harder than they thought. they have all the sides up but no roof or doors so hopefully they will finish it soon because all the extra stuff that is in my house that needs a home is going in there! I am just going to start stacking stuff outside again lol. But i am so greatful for everyone in my life! Thank you everyone that is a part of my life!

I hate being sick!

On Tuesday night my mom and Cheri took me to labor and delivery because the baby was very low and i was feeling pressure down there well it looks like i just have a urinary tract infection and a couple of other infections which sucks but i am glad the baby isn't coming this early! I am no where near ready for him quite yet we still haven't gotten his room together hopefully this weekend we will :) On top of the infections i have a really bad cold not fun at all. Oh Savannah did the cutest thing today we she saw Christmas lights for the first time this year and she actually knows what they are and her face just lit up and she just kept saying "Christmas Christmas" :) i love the smiles she puts on her face when she gets excited!

What a good monday

Today was a good day :) My mom bought us a new dvd shelf (thanks mom you're the best) and when we were going to go get it from my mom we ran into kelby and jessica so we went to lunch with them. I am so greatful to have a couple that we are so close to! And we went to TGIFridays which is always amazing with their jack daniels chicken :) yum! Then we went home and i took a nap because i can't sleep anymore cuz this huge belly! haha the only way i can sleep is when I have the bed to myself. I took savannah to dance and she gets better and better each week it is so cute to see her learn. Oh and last week she finally counted to 10 without help. So she knows colors and numbers now.

Huge project!

So we bought a shed yesterday to put up and finally get the storage bins from outside in a safe place! So we called jarrom's dad to come help and they decided that we are going to have to dig up a lot of tree roots well i am shocked how many there are in our back yard! holy cow so they started digging and now my back yard is completely just dirt and holes everywhere! Needless to say we don't have the shed up and we have a construction zone for a backyard i was so discouraged but i guess the shed will be up Saturday so please keep your fingers crossed for good weather! I just worry that it will snow before we get it up :( i guess this means we will have before and after pictures. But we were going to redo the backyard (because it had no grass) next summer we are just getting a head start now :) I just need to stay positive. Jarrom sure is positive he is loving that he get to dig up the back yard he says he is treasure hunting! oh my!

4 years ago

Yesterday four years ago (11/3) 2006 I got asked the most important question from Jarrom "Will you marry me?" Oh how those words changed my life forever. I will never forget that before Jarrom put that ring on my finger her got up to hug me because he was so excited that he dropped the ring lol. Well seeing that it was midnight we got out our phones for flash lights and searched for the ring on the gravel at Romar Park (washington terrace, ut) who would have know that Jarrom dropping the ring would just add to the perfect night and memory :) I am so lucky to have the man of my dreams and that we found eachother so young. I love him so much!

Call from Cinderella

I have disney movie rewards and one of my free rewards was to get a call form one of the princesses, so I decided to have cinderella call savannah and tell her congratulations on almost being a big sister. Savannah was so excited it even said her name and everything. Her face just lit up and when the call was over she said "mommy cinderella called me" then we got in the car and savannah said "mom will you call sleeping beauty now please" She has such an imagination i love her and her little personality. And to see that smile was priceless I hope i get to see that smile for a long time to come!

the past week

On tuesday (10/25) we took savannah to the emergency room because she has still been so sick they put an iv in for fluids and wow that was so sad to see her so helpless. She also weighs 26.6 lbs so she is a little lighter from the last time. But since then she has had a "full tank" so to speak and she has been good.

 On Friday (10/29) we went to jarroms work trunk or treat with amanda, cory, trevor and kayelyn. The kids had alot of fun and got tons of candy but the wait was an hour and a half long! Autoliv was awesome they supplied all the candy for the cars for so many kids and familys it was cool. Savannah just wore her skittles costume from her first halloween because i wasn't done with her costume oops!
On Saturday(10/30) We took the kids trick or treating around my moms neighborhood and it was so cold! Holy cow i hate that it was raining but we took savannah out anyway because we didn't want her to miss out because she actually says trick or treat this year. When jarrom took her up to one of the doors the lady told savannah to pick on piece of candy so she did then without missing a beat savannah said "can i get one for my brother?" Oh wow lol Jarrom just said "no he is good honey" she is already trying to use this baby to get extra things for herself :) cuteness.
On Sunday(10/31) we had the family halloween party at my moms this year it was so fun. Me jarrom, cheri, and savannah dressed up as deal or no deal. The girls were the "case" girls and jarrom was Howie. He actually shaved his head! So much fun like always i love the family parties we have the next three months are my favorite for our family we have so much fun and i love the laughs :)

Today (11/1) We had a doctors appointment today and the baby is weighing 3lbs 7 oz so far :) he is gaining about a quarter pound a week so the doctor thinks he will weigh around 5lbs 7 oz  i hope he is small savannah was 6lbs 7 oz so we will see :) He is still looking like jarrom in the 3d ultrasound. Savannah also had dance today and did very well i love to see her grow and have her own personality and something she loves to do :)
